"We rise by lifting others — Ubuntu is not just a word, it is our foundation."
— Zoe ZikhaliZoe Zikhali is the Founder and Director of Nqobani Foundation. Born and raised in KwaZulu-Natal, Zoe witnessed first-hand the devastating effects of youth unemployment, limited access to education, and social inequality in his community. Driven by a deep commitment to Ubuntu — the belief that we rise by lifting others — he established the Nqobani Foundation to create lasting, structural change for youth and vulnerable communities across Durban and beyond. Zoe has built strong partnerships with community structures, government bodies, and local organisations to deliver programmes that tackle the root causes of poverty. His vision: a self-sufficient, thriving KwaZulu-Natal where no young person is left behind.
